1955 Chevrolet Drag Car

This Purple 2dr 55 Chevy has a Mildly cammed 350 sbc with polished Edlebrock Tunnel ram and 2-600 Holleys.

The Transmission is a turbo 400 with tci trans-brake, reverse valve body, shift kit, tci 2800 torque converter, ACD line loc, and B&M pro ratchet shifter. It also has a TCI trans shield and cooler. It also equipped with hooker fender well headers with mufflers. This 55 had a 5500 torque converter, it was removed & is in the trunk.

It has a tubular front end with Alden coil-overs. At this point the front axles should be replaced. The rear is a narrowed 9" Ford with 5.13:1 Richmond pro gears, Mosser 33 spline and axles. It is held in place by Alden Coil-overs and a 4 link suspension by AFO racing products.

The interior is redone with a Jegs aluminum interior kit from the firewall thru trunk. It is equipped with RCI 5 pt driver restraints but need updating. NHRA legal roll cage. It also has Jegster aluminum tubbed wheel well kit on back.

It is running M/T 32.0/14.0-15 on back and M/T 26.0/4.5-15 on front. Weld Raving Wheels are used front and rear.

The fuel cell and battery are mounted in the trunk. It has a 15# Holley electric fuel pump.

The electronics include a sport comp tach, Davis racing products ultra-bow delay timer, Sport 10K monster shift lite, MSD max rpm module selector, MSD soft touch rev control, MSD tree step rpm rev selector, MSD launch selector.

One piece fiberglass tilt nose, fiberglass front and rear bumpers, and trunk lid. The body is solid and clean. The paint is also in good condition with few nicks and scratches, all minor. The paint is glossy and look a lot better than the pictures. It has Lexan windows.

The car also comes with a manual written by the previous owner. This 55 Chevrolet is a performer built with quality parts. At this point you have the option of going street or race with very little effort!
